Conflict Resolution

Workplace conflict often causes an increase in sick absence, reduces staff morale and motivation. It can create backlogs of work that can significantly damage the professional reputation of an organisation or company. It also increases the possibility of staff resignations where there is a perception of a toxic and unsupportive work environment. Mediation offers a structured space so that these issues can be discussed in an open, authentic and safe environment to aid a resolution plan that can be taken forward by the parties involved in the mediation.

We offer mediation services that support a reduction in the above factors. Often issues between colleagues can be about miscommunication or a mis-interpretation of behaviour by one or both parties. If such conflict is not addressed then it can promote the development of a workplace where all the staff become involved in the conflict.

This is clearly very detrimental to the company or organisation in terms of productivity and staff retention.

All our mediators have received a recognised training in mediation skills and undertake continuing professional development in different aspects of mediation.

Additionally we can offer co-mediation so that both parties feel supported in their efforts to resolve a workplace issue. We also can offer group mediation.
